This week, Adams Wealth Partners quietly crossed $1 billion in client assets.
It’s a number that I never thought I would write, let alone have the opportunity to celebrate personally, when I first started out. When I founded this company, the vision was never about hitting a benchmark like this. It was about doing the opposite of what our industry so often rewards: slowing down, listening deeply, and building a boutique practice where every relationship truly matters.
That’s why this milestone feels so meaningful. We didn’t get here by being part of a big bank. We didn’t get here by merging with other teams, or by being backed by private equity. And we certainly didn’t get here by trying to be a high-volume “shop.”
We got here by focusing on a small handful of new families a year. That’s it. Very intentionally, very carefully. We wanted to know every client by name, by story, by what keeps them up at night and what makes them feel most alive. We wanted to stay personal, high-touch, and deeply aligned with what matters most in people’s lives. We wanted to help people spend more time doing what they love with those that they love.
So while $1 billion is just a number, to me it represents something more: proof that you can build something significant without sacrificing intimacy or values.
To our clients, thank you for trusting us. To our team, thank you for your heart, your integrity, and your daily commitment to serving at the highest level. And to our community, thank you for believing in a firm that dares to be small on purpose.
We’re humbled, grateful, and more committed than ever to helping people live fully — financially and personally.
With gratitude,
David Adams
